Follow these simple tips and create a smooth and even application. Wash the face with a mild cleanser and gently pat dry with a towel. Apply a lightweight moisturizer on to the skin followed by primer and concealer. Squeeze or pour a pea-size dollop of foundation onto the back of your hand (assuming you are using a liquid). Pick up some foundation with the brush and disperse to areas of your face before you blend. For a natural finish, start blending the foundation in small circular buffing motion and in outward direction towards hair and jaw lines. Check for tiny makeup lines that are left behind after the foundation has set. If you see any of these lines, use a clean end of the foundation brush and lightly blend these areas with small, circular motions.
